Bill Spruill

Mr Spruill has been active in the entrepreneurial community for the past 5 years. Most recently he served as Director of Programs for the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) a Research Triangle Park based non-profit whose mission is to stimulate the formation and growth of technology companies in the region. In his role as director, Mr Spruill developed programs to provide training and education for entrepreneurs and professional service companies serving entrepreneurs. Mr Spruill also managed various capital formation and strategic partnering projects for the organization. Prior to his return to North Carolina, Mr Spruill was employed as a Quality Assurance/Flight Engineer with the Department of Defense. Mr Spruill has cofounded and assisted in the development of a number companies in the state. His roles include serving as the president of the North Carolina Filmmakers Association; serving on the the advisory boards of Vision Factory, Frontier Productions, and the North Carolina World Trade Center. Mr Spruill graduated from Northrop University in Los Angeles, California with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Asian Studies.
