The clean-tech incubator workshop was my first NBIA event. Clean Energy/Clean Technology Incubation Workshop and Meeting the Funding Challenge Seminar

NBIA's first-ever Clean Energy/Clean Technology Incubation Workshop & Meeting the Funding Challenge Seminar took place May 24-25, in Baton Rouge, La. The event was held in conjunction with the Clean Energy Alliance and hosted by the Louisiana Business & Technology Center. During the two-day event, 35 participants learned about various CECT sectors, clean-tech incubation programs and services, sources of funding for programs and clients, and ways to network and partner to become more sustainable.

Highlights of the event included:

  • Opening address by Greg Gauthier, director of sustainability and product research for Lamar Advertising
  • Tour and reception at Louisiana Business & Technology Center
  • Keynote address by Jay Dardenne, lieutenant governor of Louisiana
  • Networking reception

We hope this first event was valuable for everyone who attended.
