Regulations for U.S. citizens entering Canada have changed! To enter Canada, a U.S. citizen must provide proof of citizenship with either a U.S. passport or an original birth certificate or certified copy of a birth certificate. U.S. drivers licenses and voter registration cards are not accepted. Conference attendees flying into Toronto: Please check with your airline to find out which documents it requires to board passengers. Airline requirements differ. The airlines get hefty fines if they let anyone into Canada who does not make it through customs. So don't miss your flight — call your airline now to check requirements!

If you registered for Conference 2002 before Feb. 22, this update is for you. NBIA has confirmed several optional activities since then. You can now sign up to attend a Toronto Blue Jays baseball game (April 30), experience the fabulous theater production Mamma Mia! Airport Express operates a 24-hour shuttle from Pearson International
Airport to downtown Toronto, which stops at the Royal York Hotel. The shuttle picks up at all downtown terminals every 20 minutes throughout the day and every 30 minutes during the night. The cost for a one-way ticket from the airport to the Royal York is C$12.50. The trip takes about 45 minutes. Tickets can be purchased from the shuttle driver, or from the ticket booth located at the hotel.

The date of the City Tour of Toronto has been changed to Sunday, April 28, and will take place from 12:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
