NBIA's 16th International Conference on Business Incubation, Explore Your World, Enrich Your Community, is shaping up to be our most internationally charged conference yet. Building on last year's unprecedented level of international attendees — nearly 32 percent were from outside the United States — NBIA will travel to Toronto, Canada, for this year's event. There we will assemble industry leaders from around the world for four days of unparalleled knowledge sharing and networking. Hosting the conference is the Toronto Business Development Centre, an incubator that has been helping to develop and grow new and existing businesses for more than a decade.

And what better place for an international conference than Toronto? "Toronto" is the Huron Indian word for "meeting place." NBIA encourages the incubation world to come together in Toronto to meet with one another and communicate the innovations, successes and bright future of our industry. Now, more than ever, we must move beyond borders and look forward to the possibilities of a shared perspective. Toronto is the perfect place to gain that shared perspective, as cultural diversity flourishes in a mosaic of distinctive neighborhoods. The city is home to more than 100 different cultures, each with its own unique characteristics, choosing to come together and live in one place.
