NBIA Scholarship Programs for the 19th International Conference on Business Incubation
NBIA is pleased to announce two scholarship programs for its 19th International Conference on Business Incubation. For the first time, NBIA members and supporters are sponsoring a limited number of NBIA First-Time Attendee Scholarships to encourage new attendees. This is the second year that NBIA will partner with state business incubation associations to co-sponsor conference scholarships through the NBIA/State Association Joint Scholarship Program.
NBIA First-Time Conference Attendee Scholarships
First-Time Conference Attendee Scholarships will provide recipients:
- One conference registration to attend the 19th International Conference on Business Incubation in Baltimore, Md., May 15-18, 2005.
- One ticket to attend the Networking Dinner on Sun., May 15.
Scholarship recipients are responsible for all travel, lodging, meals (outside of the Networking Dinner and meals included in the conference registration fee) and other expenses associated with attending the conference.

Application and Selection Process
Scholarships are awarded competitively, with preference given to first-time conference attendees from traditionally under-represented segments of the industry, and to applicants who are directly involved with or responsible for an incubation program. The application deadline was March 5, 2005. NBIA thanks all who applied.
NBIA/State Association Joint Scholarship Program
The National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) and the U.S. state business incubation associations listed below are pleased to announce the availability of NBIA/State Association Joint Scholarships for the 19th International Conference on Business Incubation in Baltimore, Md., May 15-18, 2005.
NBIA/State Association Joint Scholarships will provide recipients:
- One conference registration at the NBIA member early-bird rate to attend the 19th International Conference on Business Incubation in Baltimore, Md., May 15-18.
- One ticket to attend the Networking Dinner on Sun., May 15.
Scholarship recipients are responsible for all travel, lodging, meals (outside of the Networking Dinner and meals included in the conference registration fee) and other expenses associated with attending the conference. Non-members and NBIA member attendees registering after the March 18 early-bird deadline also may be responsible for additional registration fees.
Application and Selection Process
Participating state associations will select their scholarship recipients. Please contact your state association to verify its participation in this offer, learn its eligibility requirements and obtain an application.
