Silent Auction General Information
NBIA has something new in store at the 20th International Conference on Business Incubation: a silent auction.
The first-ever NBIA Silent Auction will kick off during the Expo Breakfast on Monday morning. You can bid on items until Tuesday afternoon; winning bids will be revealed that day. Proceeds will benefit NBIA’s Conference Scholarship Fund for first-time attendees who have not had the resources to attend the International Conference in the past.
You don’t have to be a bidder to participate in the auction – you can donate an item or items for bidding, too. One idea is to assemble a basket of products and services from your incubator clients and graduates. What a great way to show your colleagues all the great things happening at your incubator!
Not an incubator? Consulting services, gift cards to national stores or restaurants, or arts and crafts from your region are all great ideas – and a perfect way to introduce yourself and your organization to the 600+ attendees at the conference.
Donors will receive recognition in the conference materials, at the silent auction table and through conference signage.
Donation Guidelines
- The Silent Auction will be held during NBIA’s 20th International Conference on Business Incubation, April 30-May 3, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at Union Station, St. Louis, Mo.

Tax Information
The National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) is a private non-profit 501 (c) 3 membership organization. NBIA is the world's leading organization advancing business incubation and entrepreneurship. It provides thousands of professionals with the information, education, advocacy and networking resources to bring excellence to the process of assisting early-stage companies.
