Opening Reception

NBIA’s on-site bookstore gave attendees the opportunity to browse

Keynote Presentations
Henry Cisneros, chairman of CityView, shared his insights with the audience
during Monday’s lunch, and David Spencer, an entrepreneur and

Conference Sessions
In more than 60 educational sessions, including roundtable discussions
and forum meetings, attendees learned new ideas and strategies related
to incubation and economic development. Topics ranged from writing business
plans to implementing environmentally friendly strategies in a facility.

The Greehey Children’s Cancer Research
Institute Tour
The research institute, supported by $200 million in an endowment from
tobacco settlement receipts, opened its doors to a group of attendees
Monday evening. Participants had time to view a short presentation,
explore the facility during the guided tour and enjoy refreshments.

International Reception
Tuesday’s reception offered a chance to relax after a long day

up for bid at NBIA’s Silent Auction. Proceeds from the auction
