Learn
new techniques for developing or revitalizing your incubation
program at NBIA’s 18th Fall Training Institute. This
event, designed for incubation and other economic development
professionals, will take place Oct. 13-15 at the Chateau
Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans. Three intensive workshops
will be presented each day, with full-day workshops offered
on Monday and Tuesday, and half-day workshops offered on Wednesday.

of the workshops.
Two of the workshops offered during this event – “Serving
Client Companies” and “The Fundamentals of Incubator
Management” – fulfill requirements of NBIA’s
Incubator Management Certificate Program. “Serving Client
Companies” will cover the programs and services an incubator
should offer, as well as best practices for coaching clients.
“The Fundamentals of Incubator Management” is
intended for managers of established incubators who are looking
for strategies and techniques to meet clients’ expectations
and run successful programs. Click
here to learn more about the certificate program and its
requirements.
Experienced
trainers with expertise in incubation-related topics will
lead the workshops. Besides gaining access to their expertise,
you’ll have time to interact with incubation professionals
from around the world who attend NBIA events. By participating,
you’ll be able to share ideas and experiences with an
international audience.
After the workshops end for the day, there will be plenty
of opportunities to connect with colleagues. At the Monday
evening sponsor reception, you can enjoy hors d’oeuvres,
chat with other attendees, and view some of the products and
services offered by our sponsors. After the workshops end
on Wednesday, you can board a bus bound for Baton Rouge to
visit the
Louisiana Emerging Technology Center and the
Louisiana Business & Technology Center.
Join NBIA in New Orleans for the education, networking and
fun!
