What is the summit?NBIA’s Fifth Summit for Advanced Incubation Professionals provides a unique opportunity for experienced incubation leaders to discuss, debate and exchange ideas about innovation, entrepreneurship and business incubation.
Attend the summit and you will have the opportunity to:
Interact. No need to go it alone when dealing with the challenges and opportunities of business incubation. The summit gives you a chance to network and brainstorm with other industry veterans who share your experience and skills. This event is not for amateurs! The Summit for Advanced Incubation Professionals is designed to allow business incubation experts to exchange knowledge and ideas about the industry. Every participant will have the opportunity to make the summit personally meaningful and valuable by sharing their interests, experience and expertise to guide the discussions.
To help us prepare for this event, please visit www.facebook.com/pages/NBIA-Summit-for-Advanced-Incubation-Professionals/160859060602674 and click on the "Discussions" tab. There, you can list topics you wish to see discussed, challenges you need advice on or questions you would like to see explored at the event. If you’re not on Facebook, send this information by e-mail to education@nbia.org. From your comments, we will determine the appropriate summit sessions, which may be informal presentations, panels, discussions or roundtables.
If you’re planning to attend the summit, please check the Facebook page from time to time to learn what discussion topics others have suggested. Your expertise will help answer these challenges and questions and shape the discussions. If you see a topic mentioned that you have expertise in, feel free to bring documents, plans, notes, handouts or any other useful materials to the summit. You don’t need to prepare a formal presentation on the topic; it’s the knowledge you bring that is most important.
