USDA and Rural Incubators: Funding for You and Your Clients

Wednesday, June 15, 2 p.m. EDT

Presented by: Nick Walters, principal, Stone-Adams Financial Partners, Jackson, Miss.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture offers multiple funding sources to assist both rural incubators and their clients. This online training session will provide an overview of those funding programs and insights on how to submit a successful application. The presenter will explain which programs are most appropriate for incubators and their clients, eligibility requirements, application components and how the selection process works.

This Webinar is based on a popular session from the recent NBIA conference in San Jose, Calif. Here's what people said about the session:

  • Nick had lots of real-life examples to illustrate his points. He really knows USDA programs.
  • Perhaps the best session I attended. Lots of detail on USDA funding opportunities. He is an interesting speaker.
  • Nick Walters is very knowledgeable of all types of funding, and relayed and explained information very well. He provided resources that will be very helpful and used great examples.
  • Wow! What a great and underpromoted resource for rural areas – this session can be transformational for those regions.

Scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 15, at 2 p.m. EDT, this Webinar is free to anyone from the Appalachian Regional Commission and Tennessee Valley Authority regions. For others, cost is $39 for NBIA members and $69 for nonmembers.
