The Managing Director and Instructor provides vision and strategic leadership to achieve the intended mission of Navajo Technical University’s Entrepreneurial Center by leading the marketing effort, implements the marketing plan, and searches for, evaluates and negotiates with prospective entrepreneurs; and is responsible for strategic planning, developing and implementing operational plans and procedures, and oversight of staff and interns. The Managing Director represents the incubator to the community at-large and plays an integral role in acquiring further funding for the incubator and capital for start-ups. The Managing Director works closely with client entrepreneurs on business-related issues, and facilitates relationships between entrepreneurs and board members, service providers, mentors, advisors and interns.
