King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is seeking a junior to medium experienced Incubation Professional to participate as Incubation Supervisor in its Technology Incubator. Manages the Center for Business Development and Incubation including the business client and student incubation programs and the Technology Commercialization Center. Supervises the Small Business Center whose objectives as a member of the NC Small Business Center Network is to increase the success rate and the number of viable small businesses in North Carolina by providing high quality, readily accessible assistance (i.e., provider of education, training, counseling, information, and referral) to prospective and existing small business owners and their employees. This position is also responsible for the operation and coordination of activities that support and promote entrepreneurship and economic development in the College's service area.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Law, Human Resources, or business-related fields; five or more years of managerial or technical experience in a successful business; minimum of five years experience in providing consulting to companies; minimum of five years experience as a successful small business owner; mix of educational and business experience; prior experience in a successful incubator; shall not have been a principle officer or owner for any business having filed bankruptcy within the past 7 years. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Communicates with impact and influence; experience in developing and implementing successful public or private business incubation programs.
SALARY RANGE: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
