Austin, Texas, to Host NBIA Training
Institute
Every
year since 1990, NBIA has provided in-depth training for those
who want to create and lead effective entrepreneurship
support
programs. Austin Technology Incubator will host NBIA's 14th Training
Institute, which will feature in-depth workshops on business incubation,
professional
development
and small business assistance. Whether
you’re an incubator developer from Africa, a university technology
transfer official from the United States, or an experienced incubator
manager from Germany, you’ll find a training program that
meets your professional development needs.
What better way to spend three days honing your incubation skills
in the middle of winter than to visit a city where the sun shines
more than 300 days of the year? Plus, as the live music capital
of the world, Austin is not likely to leave NBIA Training Institute
attendees searching for something to do in their free time.
On any given night you’ll find live music playing at more
than 100 venues, including the numerous bars, art galleries, cafes
and upscale restaurants that line Austin’s famous 6th Street.
You’ll also find some of the region’s well-known dishes
including chili, ribs and authentic Tex-Mex recipes. (Check out
more of what Austin has to offer at www.austintexas.org.)
Austin and NBIA’s Training Institute will give attendees
plenty of reasons to go home happy, relaxed and confident that
they have the tools they need to create incubation success stories. Exact dates for the January 2005 event, as well as registration
and workshop information, will be available soon.
