Incubator Client Receives Prestigious NASA Public Service Medal

Titusville, FL – August 11, 2005 – Dr. James T. Brown, President of SEBA™ Solutions, Inc., was awarded a Public Service Medal from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). One of the highest-level awards available to non-NASA employees, the NASA Public Service Medal is granted for exceptional contributions to NASA’s mission.

The award honors Dr. Brown’s significant contributions to NASA’s Space Shuttle Program Strategic Planning Summit process over the past several years. Dr. Brown has provided key facilitation, value based project selection and decision analysis support to the strategic planning process. Additionally, he has provided NASA co-op’s and summer students with seminars on ”Career Management and Excelling in College.”

A recognized authority on project management, Dr. Brown has a patent for a project scheduling methodology and has provided training and consulting services for dozens of Fortune 500 companies nationally and internationally. Dr. Brown is a frequently invited speaker on project management areas of interest. SEBA™ Solutions, Inc., is a Registered Education Provider (REP) or Project Management Training by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and provides practical project management training and consulting services that ensure project managers, project team members and project support personnel have the understanding, skills and processes to deliver projects on schedule, within target costs and to meet customer expectations. SEBA™ Solutions, Inc. has been a client of the Florida/NASA Business Incubation Center (FNBIC) for the past four years. “I first heard about the FNBIC while working at NASA, and it has been a great place for my start-up business,” commented Dr. Brown. “The incubator management and staff have been a real pleasure to work with, and I’d recommend this program to any technology company that is just starting out.”

Established by the Technological Research and Development Authority (TRDA) in 1996, the FNBIC helps accelerate the success of small, technology-based businesses by providing affordable space and shared office services, thereby reducing the costs of starting and operating a small business. The Incubator is managed through a joint partnership of Florida’s TRDA and Brevard Community College.
