Logos for Use in Printed Materials

The following are high-resolution graphics designed for use in printed materials such as newsletters, company letterhead and business cards. NBIA intends the logos for use only on a white or very light background (10 percent or less of the darkest color value); NBIA prefers that the logos appear on a white background. NBIA members may enlarge or reduce the logo’s size in proportion as needed; however, logos should be no smaller than 5/8" in width.

Color Applications

The high-resolution, color version of the NBIA logo must always appear in the colors specified in the diagram below. Do not substitute any other colors. If you cannot use these colors, use the single-color version of the logo. Never convert the color logo to grayscale or reverse the image; instead, use the single-color version of the logo.

Single-Color, High-Quality Applications
EPS format, single-color NBIA MEMBER logo (shaded)

The following logo is for use in high-quality (120 line screen or higher), single-color applications. It may also be used in high-quality, two- or four-color applications that do not use NBIA colors. All parts of the logo must be the same color. Other than the center cube, no portion of the logo may be screened back or put in a second color. Screen percentages for the center cube are 60 percent (left), 100 percent (right) and 35 percent (top).

Single-Color, Low-Quality Applications
EPS format, single-color NBIA MEMBER logo (solid)

The following logo is for use in low-quality (lower than 120 line screen), single-color applications, including any material to be copied or faxed. It may also be used in high-quality, two- or four-color applications that do not use NBIA colors or require a reversal of the logo. When used in reverse, the logo should be white on a dark background. In all instances the logo must be the same color – no portion of the logo may be screened back or put in a second color.
