Customized Training Options

NBIA offers a comprehensive and practical overview of the tasks and responsibilities of incubator management through its training programs. Developed with input from experienced industry professionals, these programs provide a real-world view into the best practices of incubator management.

We have developed four full-day workshops as part of the NBIA Incubator Management Certificate Program, earning participants an Incubator Management Certificate upon completion. You can complete these workshops at NBIA events in the U.S., or we can bring the entire program or individual workshops directly to you.

Program content includes incubator funding and client funding, mission and strategic planning, facilities management, selecting and serving clients, and more. Participants will develop skills and gather tools to enhance the success of their programs. The training program can be tailored to the specific needs of a city, region or nation, and includes best practices and case studies from the NBIA global network.

The four full-day workshops offered as part of the NBIA Incubator Management Certificate Program are:

  • The Fundamentals of Incubator Management, a comprehensive overview of business incubation best practices, policies and business models
  • Entrepreneurship, which examines the global entrepreneurial movement and the policies, culture and other factors that encourage entrepreneurs to start businesses
  • Serving Client Companies, a complete guide to creating world-class client services programs
  • Facilities Management, an in-depth look at how an incubator facility can contribute to the overall success and sustainability of an incubation program, and how incubators integrate into the community they serve
