 Your Time Commitment
The
entire process could take approximately 1.5 to 2 days
of your time:
- Submitting data and information in advance to help the
team understand your incubator’s operations and
circumstances and setting up interviews for the site visit.
Total time requirement: 4 - 5 hours.
- Meeting with the team, perhaps at dinner on the
night of their arrival, and then off and on during the following
day while they conduct interviews. Total time requirement:
a full day, plus dinner, if possible.
- Reviewing your customized report, which would provide
suggestions based on accepted NBIA best practices, the
team’s own experience and examples gleaned from other
high-performing incubation programs. (The team would
send a draft to review for accuracy and to obtain your feedback.)
Total time requirement: 1 hour.
Length of Process
The entire process, from the time you apply to receipt
of your final report, will take up to three months. Click

Cost
The total cost is $2,000, of which you will be expected to pay only $1,000. A comparable review by a private consultant would cost up to $25,000! ARC or TVA will match your $1,000 to ensure funds for travel expenses and honoraria for a review team.
