When
you apply for the benchmarking program, you will submit preferred
dates for your site visit. You also must complete three steps
to help your team gain a comprehensive understanding
of your incubation program and the challenges you face:
STEP 1. Complete the TVA/ARC/NBIA
Online Benchmarking Tool.
STEP 2. Answer 20 general questions about your program. Most
require only check-off answers; in some cases, you will need
to write just a sentence or two.
STEP 3. Provide documents related to your program. You should
already have this information readily available.
All required materials are due no later than four
weeks before your review date. Submissions can be
uploaded electronically via this Web site.
Don't have a type of information requested? Don't worry about
it. But please do provide all the documents, lists or other
information you can to ensure a thorough assessment of your program.
If you don't have all the information at hand, you may stop
the process at any point, save your submissions and begin
again at a more convenient time.
To ensure confidentiality, the information you provide will
be shared only with the project coordinator and members of
your team.
