Ultimate Solutions set out to offer the right solutions for the packaging industry, using the latest technologies and the best qualified professionals. And its goal is to become the preferred provider of integrated packaging solutions in Puerto Rico. The company provides packaging validation, machine automation, project management, and industrial engineering services, as well as equipment maintenance and troubleshooting and specialized packaging training, to the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology manufacturing industries in Puerto Rico. The company plans to capitalize on this market to expand, focusing on the newest technologies required to overcome packing industry challenges such as counterfeit packaging, poor quality and sustainability. In order to succeed, the organization needed to keep operational costs low to have the necessary cash flow to compete and operate as a leader in the industry.

Incubator’s role: INTECO INOVA provided Ultimate Solutions with the needed tools to analyze and measure company finance as part of its strategy to manage growth and evaluate profit margin. In the two years the company has been an INTECO INOVA client, Ultimate Solutions has grown from 13 employees to 56, from 225 square feet to 3,840 square feet of incubator space, and from gross sales of just over $700,000 to $4.4 million.
